
In 1984, Gi-Hyoung Jo recognized a distinct separation between ideas and experiences, leading to the collapse of the illusion that had been guiding him. He then immersed himself in the study of the mind. By 1998, he had begun to fully explore the senses that underpin human experience. In 2008, he published a series of books summarizing the significance and influence of taste, furthering his exploration of the senses and their connection to happiness. As his perception deepened, he identified the mind’s structure as consisting of four pillars and developed a framework for the evolution of consciousness through taste. He has been at the forefront of popularizing gourmet food, demonstrating that taste is a significant avenue for the advancement of human consciousness.
